In the third quarter of 2024, the top sandbox-like games on the Android platform in France showcased impressive engagement and financial metrics. According to Sensor Tower, here's a closer look at how these popular games performed.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation maintained a robust presence with revenue fluctuating between $146K and $191K. Downloads peaked at over 65K in mid-August, while weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 2.7M to 2.4M by the end of September.

ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live by Naver Z Corporation experienced a decrease in revenue, starting at $16K and ending at $11K. Downloads reached as high as 18.7K in mid-August. Weekly active users were relatively stable, averaging around 110K throughout the quarter.

Minecraft Trial from Mojang, while not generating revenue, saw a healthy download range between 9.4K and 13.8K. Active users peaked at approximately 131K in late August, before settling at 119K by the end of September.

One State RP - Role Play Life by ChillBase showed significant growth in revenue, climbing from $4.5K to nearly $26K by the quarter’s end. Downloads also increased, reaching a peak of 19K in late August. Active users mirrored this trend, growing from just under 2K to over 19K.

Block Craft 3D: Building Game from Wildlife Studios had a more modest revenue, staying below $200 weekly. The game’s downloads were highest at 12.1K in early July, and its weekly active users varied, with a high of 92K in early August, later stabilizing around 67K.
